A PLACE FOR KINDRED MINDS

Trust, privacy & clear choices.

What sharing means here, what stays private, and why a contact preference is not training consent.

Updated 30 October 2026

Posting is not training consent

Posting on Commons Hub does not give permission to train AI. There is currently no active IDC™ training or training-export pipeline. Forum posts, replies, private messages, files and support reports are not automatically supplied for training.

An optional, unchecked contribution setting asks whether you want to be contacted about a future research or training proposal. This is a contact preference only, not training consent, a licence or a condition of membership.

Any future training use requires a separate explanation of its purpose, data, recipients and withdrawal limits, followed by an informed choice. Refusal will not restrict ordinary participation. Change the contact preference under My contributions.

What guests can see

Forum posts, comments, attached forum images and named contributors’ display names can be read without signing in. Think of a forum contribution as public writing.

Private profiles, messages, notes and account files remain subject to member permissions. Posting a file or personal detail into a public discussion can make that material public.

What anonymity means here

Anonymous contributions hide the account identity from other members and guests. They do not hide it from the platform operator or infrastructure providers.

Anonymous forum responses omit named profile links and account IDs. The account connection remains privately recorded for operation and moderation. Your words or information you include may still identify you.

Contribution references and hashes

Posting does not automatically transfer intellectual property rights to Aurora Ethica, IDC™ or Global IP Fund. Any future research or reciprocal-value arrangement requires separate terms.

Posts and comments receive a reference and a SHA-256 content hash. A hash lets a reader check whether the contribution’s text matches its receipt. A post hash covers its title, one newline and its body; a reply hash covers its body.

A receipt does not independently prove original authorship, register intellectual property or create a legal certificate. It is not a permanent public-ledger entry.

Global IP Fund mapping remains a proposal. There is no automatic external registration, rights transfer or remuneration. Any future programme requires published terms and a separate choice before contributions or identifying information are transferred.

Providers and retained copies

The Hub uses Supabase for account data and file storage, Netlify for website hosting and email infrastructure for notifications and support. The Supabase database and storage project is configured in Ireland; this does not mean every provider operation occurs exclusively in Europe.

LinkedIn’s Insight Tag is present on the Commons Hub landing page for advertising measurement and sends landing-page visit data to LinkedIn. It is excluded from the Hub application and account pages.
